Hi there, I need a handyman or carpenter to repair a section of my outdoor timber walkway that has collapsed and broken through. The Job Involves: Removing and disposing of the broken, rotted timber decking boards (as seen in the photos). Inspecting the sub-frame/joists underneath the collapsed section and replacing any rotted supports. Installing sturdy, new timber decking boards to match the height and width of the existing path so it is level and completely safe to walk on again.

The floorboards are in good nick and there are no glue residues (the linoleum was attached to a stapled board, now removed). I have a 2-in-1 job that I need help with. I have a section of laminate flooring in my living room that has swelled and cracked due to water damage from under the boards. The water appears to be leaking in from the window frame area, however it's difficult to be sure. The window outside appears to have several gaps where water may be entering from. The job would be to first find and patch the leaky area, then make sure it's sealed properly (we've had this issue before). After we're confident the leak is gone, we would need to replace a 1.5m x 1.5m section of the laminate flooring, and replace it with panels that match the existing color as closely as possible (it's fine if it's not exact, but we want it to be as close as possible). We'd want a handyman who has done work like this before so we can be confident that we will fix the problem once and for all.
