I need to sand the stairs of an outdoor deck that is painted. Remove the old paint and leave it ready for oiling.

I need a quote for my stairs to be sanded. I started sanding myself but I unfortunately have injured myself and am on Workcover now so the stairs are 1/4 finished but I need the rest done! I would also want them to have a clear lacquer over the top after sanding.

Old deck. Heavily stained and probably not been cleaned in 10 years plus. Under cover. Large planks. Selling house so nothing too expensive needed or long lasting. Will need stairs and railings touched up too ready for sale. As it’s outside, you can come and go as you please. Would love it finished by this Friday if possible. Photos and plan attached. Looking for someone to sand and re-oil the outdoor timber around our house. It is mostly Merbau that has weathered over time and needs bringing back. The job includes: * Outdoor stairs leading upstairs, including treads and handrails * Cubby house stairs * Timber retaining wall capping I’ve already completed one section of the upstairs handrail, which gives a good idea of the finish we’re after. I have the Intergrain Reviva cleaner and timber oil ready to go. Looking for someone with experience sanding and restoring outdoor timber. Photos show the areas involved.

My wife and I are sanding the deck around our pool back to raw timber, so we can apply decking oil. We’ve done plenty of this before, and we have all the equipment required. An appropriate belt sander and geared 150mm orbital sander will be provided, with plenty of spare belts and discs. Dust collection is set up. We’ve already started the job. We just want some extra labour for 3 hours on Saturday. Ideal would be 9-12 on Saturday morning. You need to know how to use belt and orbital sanders, but you don’t need to bring a thing. You just show up, and for 3 hours, it’s your turn on the tools.

The deck is approximately 5m x 4m (20m²) and has become faded and weathered over time. I’m looking for someone who can restore it to a clean, well-presented condition and protect it from further weathering. Scope of work: • Lightly sand the timber to remove surface weathering and prepare it for staining • Clean and thoroughly prepare the deck surface • Check and secure any loose screws, boards or timber where required • Apply 2 coats of a good-quality exterior timber/deck stain suitable for Queensland conditions • Ensure an even, professional finish • Clean up and remove any job-related mess/rubbish on completion Materials: Please include in your quote whether you: • Supply all materials, including stain, sanding materials and consumables; or • Prefer me to purchase the required materials beforehand. Includes sanding deck boards, stair treads, edges and around balustrade posts. Balustrade will be removed so you don’t need to worry about it.
