We have a small burn from a knocked over iron on our bedroom carpet in a visible location. We have left over spare carpet and need the burn cut out and patch installed.

There was a water leak from an ensuite shower into our bedroom. The shower is to be repaired on 13 January and after that we are seeking a carpet layer to place the carpet plus an area of underlay back into position. The area measures about 2100 X 1700 from the back corner to the ensuite doorway and along the back wall. The carpet has been dried.

I have some old carpet that needs removing from a small furnished bedroom (3x3). There will be some underlay and nails (we think) that also need to be removed/ pulled up. ***There’s a catch - there is some furniture in the room that is difficult to remove so you’ll need to work around that (a double bed and a desk). Might be a two-person job. If possible, could you apply a metal floor strip on the floor under the door (between the hallway and the room) too. No need to take the old carpet or underlay away unless you want it. We can discard it.
