We have removed carpet from 3 rooms and a hallway but the underlay is glued to the floorboards. I need to remove the Glue and underlay (without damaging the boards) before we can polish the old baltic pine boards. I have been using scrapers to remove it so far.

Hi, I'm after carpet and underlay etc supplied and installed for one bedroom. The room measurements are 3.1 m x 5m and there is a wall in the middle which is a divider between the walk in robe and bed. Where the door is, there is a 40mm 'step' so you will to build a ramp into it so it's not a steep step. It is hopefully getting painted mid next week so after it's painted you are free to come in and install, ideally sooner rather than later. We are happy to go with a more premium wool carpet or something, so a few options to choose from would be great. Budget is flexible and it'd be good to see a quote for a cheaper carpet or premium carpet. Thanks. Let me know your quote plus a timeframe when you'd be able to come and do it. I have a staircase which used to have carpet on it. I have removed and disposed of the old carpet and underlay. Now I want someone to supply and install new underlay and carpet on the stairs. You will need to supply underlay and carpet approx 8 metres in length. It is mostly only 880mm wide or less, apart from the three corner steps, which are up to 1200mm wide. The stairs are a bullnose style. Most steps still have the existing spikes to attach carpet. I'm not fussed about the colour or style of the carpet, so long as it is new and in a neutral colour. This task can be done any time in the next week or two, but would really like it done sooner rather than later

Our staircase needs recarpeting. The job includes sourcing carpet and underlay, and laying the carpet. 11 regular stairs, 4 corner/triangular stairs. Regular stairs are: 820mm wide 190mm tall, plus the lip 265mm deep

Pet damages on the carpet. Damage 1: The edge of one step of the stairs. This whole step need to be replaced. Damage 2: The centre of the living room carpet. About 1cm x 10cm in size, but it situates at the centre of the one piece carpet in the living room. Ideally only replace this small area. Small bedroom roughly 4mx3m . Requires carpet ripped up and new carpet laid . Any off cut of a light colour is fine to replace with as im sure that is just left overs for a carpeter . I dont mind if it has some joins or anything in it along as its good tradesmanship and its done well . I would expect the lack of specific colour joins , type of carpet will be reflected in your quotes the house won't be around much longer its just to see out the next x amount of time . Please quote for ripping up old , laying new and supplying whats needed if its an extra cost to take the old carpet your can leave it there . Thanks . Some to come in and rip up the standard size beed room and carpet and lay new carpet down room would be roughly 4x4mts . Or if it can be colour matched even just like a small strip replaced where I have damaged it. Please be specific in your quotes what it includes materials, labour etc how many hours it would take and when you could do it
