🎉 Party Helper for 40th Birthday Celebration — Prahran (Sat 1st Nov, 2pm to early evening by negotiation) I’m hosting a fun and relaxed 40th birthday celebration at my home in Prahran and am looking for an experienced and friendly event helper to keep things running smoothly so I can focus on my guests. 🕒 Details • Date: Saturday 1st November • Time: 2:00 pm – 11:00 pm (6 hours total) • Location: Private home in Prahran (indoor–outdoor space, garden party style) • Guests: Around 40 people, mature and well-mannered crowd 🧑‍💼 Tasks • Light tidying throughout the event (collecting glasses, plates, napkins, etc.) • Stacking and unloading the dishwasher • Keeping drinks topped up (wine/champagne) • Maintaining the grazing table area (neat and replenished as needed) • Generally keeping the space looking good No food prep or cocktail mixing required. I’ll provide plenty of ice, drinks, and serving items. ➡️ Guests will be serving themselves, so this is mainly about keeping everything tidy and well-presented rather than providing direct service. 💵 Pay & Expectations • Rate: $35 per hour (min. 4 hours) • Must have previous experience assisting at private events or parties • Friendly, reliable, and proactive personality — comfortable engaging with guests in a relaxed setting • Casual dress; apron appreciated if you have on hand but not essential by any means • You’re welcome to enjoy some food and soft drinks during the event • You must be very LGBTI friendly
