Assistance for serving food and cleaning 1pm 4pm at kids party

We are looking for a reliable and proactive person to help maintain the overall cleanliness and presentation of our venue during our 50th Anniversary Event on Sunday, 16 August. We are expecting approximately 300 attendees throughout the event, and your role will be to continuously keep an eye on the venue and make sure everything stays clean, tidy and presentable. Main duties include: - Regularly checking and tidying toilets - Refilling toilet paper, hand towels and other bathroom supplies as required - Clearing used cups, plates, napkins and food left around the venue - Emptying bins and replacing bin liners - Keeping an eye out for spills or mess and cleaning them promptly - General tidying throughout the event - Helping ensure the venue remains clean and welcoming for guests This is not heavy-duty cleaning — we mainly need someone who is attentive, takes initiative and can continuously walk around the event identifying anything that needs cleaning or tidying without needing to be instructed each time. All basic cleaning equipment and supplies will be provided. Food and drinks will also be provided. Catering will be delivered and will need to be laid out ready for guests. Fill eskies with ice and organise drinks (soft drinks, water, beer, wine, etc.) We will provide our own eskies and I will organise alcohol. Set up a memorial display table with photographs, memorabilia and keepsakes. Possible Position and assemble two fabric display screens as the backdrop for the memorial area, to display photos Ensure the venue looks neat, welcoming and organised before guests arrive. We need a reliable person (or two people) to help stage and set up a 5-bedroom coliving property in Baldivis. All furniture is already assembled and items have been distributed to rooms from boxes. We need someone to unpack, set up, and make everything look finished and presentable. Start time: Midday today Deadline: By around 3:00pm tomorrow I will meet you onsite at the start to walk you through exactly what needs to be done. I’ll then be in and out during the day with some shopping/supplies as needed. Scope of work All items have been placed in rooms (to save time) and one bedroom is almost done - therefore will just need the bed made and pictures on the walls. Unpack and organise all kitchen and kitchenette items (5 kitchenettes + 1 main kitchen) Make 5 beds with linen, throws and pillows Hang 6–8 pictures on the walls (approx. one per bedroom & around 3 in living room and hallways) Hang 5 mirrors in bedrooms (one per room) Assemble a TV unit for Bedroom 1 Remove packaging inside of fridges in rooms & kitchen Put all rubbish/packaging into the trailer in the garage (flattened) Leave any unused items in a neat pile in the garage Requirements (important) Must be able to follow our setup plan/instructions (usually printed scopes - today will just be verbal communication) Must send progress photo updates during the job and a final photo set once complete via Whatsapp Must be reliable, tidy, and able to work independently Tools Basic tools helpful: tape measure, level, screwdriver/drill for drilling into bricks usually**, step stool.
