Diagnose and repair a Focal FPX 4.800 car amplifier. The amplifier originally powered on but entered protection mode with no speakers connected. During fault finding, one channel (CH2) exhibited DC offset and the fault progressed to a high-current condition. The unit now no longer powers up and appears to have a short in the output/driver stage. Looking for an experienced electronics technician capable of component-level repair of car amplifiers (MOSFETs, driver transistors, ICs, etc.), not simply replacement. Happy to deliver or post the amplifier. Please advise estimated repair cost and experience with Focal amplifiers.
