I'm looking for a licensed air conditioning technician to relocate the outdoor condenser unit of our existing LG ducted air conditioning system. The system was installed in September 2020 and is working perfectly. I need the outdoor unit moved approximately 6 metres around the corner of the same house, ideally wall-mounted beside the hot water system. The indoor ducted system will remain unchanged. The job will involve extending the necessary pipework and electrical connections, relocating the unit and recommissioning the system. Located in Golden Beach, Sunshine Coast. My LG air conditioner recently stopped working. The inside unit works for about 5 minutes before switching itself off and displaying error code C5. The outdoor unit doesn't seem to come on, and the fan doesn't move. I've power cycled both units with no success, and there's no physical damage anywhere. I need a licensed technician to diagnose and assess the problem, so I can decide whether it's worth repairing, or if it needs to be replaced. It's in my apartment and the unit is getting close to 20 years old. I have already cleaned the air filters and identified the external drainage pipe. Work required: • Inspect the indoor condensate drain tray and outlet. • Clear any blockage in the drainage pipe. • Clean the water collection tray if required. • Test the drainage to confirm water flows outside properly and no longer leaks indoors. I have twice, replaced the remote unit and while on occasion, I can turn on the Air Conditioner, I cannot turn it off and have to do so at the switchboard.
