They’re very gentle (don’t bite or scratch) but can be a bit shy at first, so we’d like to start with a short trial to make sure everyone’s comfortable. The listed price is just for a short meet and greet (15 minutes) at your place. If that goes well, there may be the opportunity for a longer-term arrangement (about 3.5 weeks) from 7 May to 1 June while we’re away. I am looking for a reliable and confident dog sitter to look after my female dog, Hazel, while I’m away from May 1st to May 18th. Please note, I am looking for boarding and not a house sitting task. Hazel is a 42kg Rottweiler with a goofy personality. She is a well behaved dog but her size and enthusiasm mean she needs someone who understands large breeds and can handle a bit of "heavy-duty" affection. The Daily Routine: • Exercise: One solid walk per day. Once she’s had her outdoor time, she is essentially a living rug and will happily snooze the rest of the day away. • Feeding: Dinner in the evening. • Company: She loves being around people, though she’s quite independent once her basic needs are met. About Hazel: Hazel is incredibly friendly, but she has zero self-awareness regarding her weight. When she gets excited (especially meeting someone new) she tends to forget she weighs 42kgs. She can be a bit of a "bulldozer" with her greetings, so you’ll need to be steady on your feet! She also loves a good car ride. Hazel is not suited for a household of kids or other pets. About You: The ideal sitter is someone experienced with large, powerful breeds who isn't intimidated by a dog that thinks she’s a lapcat. If you’re comfortable managing a strong but sweet dog and have a secure, pet-free environment, Hazel would love to meet you.

Lottie is 4 years old and experienced some back pain recently. She is acting like her normal happy self now, but we need a dog sitter who will be careful to not allow her to jump off furniture, or run up/ down stairs. We need a pet sitter, at your house, from 2pm today until 10pm. - She won't need to be taken on a walk - She is not on any medication - She has separation anxiety and can't be left alone - She will need to be carried up and down stairs, and lifted onto and off the couch/bed - You will need to watch her to make sure she doesn't jump up or down - No other pets and no children please Lottie is a lovely, cuddly girl who needs a lap to sleep on while you watch TV this Saturday night (tonight). She is fairly easy to care for if you are looking forward to a quiet night at home. Her normal pet sitter is not available. We live in Five Dock and are happy to bring her to you.

Hi there puppy lovers! We have rescued the most adorable 12 week old kelpie-cross puppy named Biscuit and need your help! We need to attend a work conference tomorrow (Monday) from midday until Tuesday morning. If we were to drop her at your place, would you be able to puppysit? Given Biscuit’s age, she is not yet trained and has only had her first vaccination so can’t stay at a puppy hotel until she’s older. She is also teething so needs her chewy toys and to be watched. She’s been using the floor nappies on her own to toilet but we take her outside a few times a day and first thing in the morning for toileting. She’s been wormed, flea’d, microchipped, and is very loved. We will bring her food, little bed, blanket, soft crate for bed time, chew toys, bowls, treats etc. We ask that you send photos and updates to my phone through the course of the puppysitting and be available should we call or become available to collect her sooner, possibly Monday evening. She will need to be fed mid afternoon, evening, and morning and have fresh water provided throughout her stay. She will need to be toileted before bed, calmed down with lights low or off and energy softened before being put to bed in her soft crate, zipped up. This is a boundary training thing and also helps her humans get some sleep. We prefer that you’re eastern suburbs-based as we’re in Bondi but open to the right puppy lover.
