We are seeking a handyman to re-oil timber deck. It is a very large timber deck and estimate that it will take 4 hours for single coat. Deck will be washed down and timber oil will be provided. We are expecting only single coat on Saturday. Due to work commitments, this job can not be done any other day and AirTasker needs to be available on Saturday, 6 December 2025 to complete it Personal tools of trade required.

Hello, I have a small outside deck (3m x 5m) that is 6 years old, Merbau timber and has been stained a few times by a few different handymen. I just want it sanded back and oiled but not stained. I don’t need it done until Nov as I’m going overseas. And I need someone who is reliable and who returns phone calls or text messages and shows up when they say they will! Thank you! 😃

Clearance required is about 3 inches. The facia is approx 6 metres long .

I would like to get two timber decks (2.35m x 5.25m and 4.5m x 7.5m) stained. I would also like to see if it is possible to get the timber in two roof gables stained.

We need our back deck sanded and oiled. It’s a 30sqm deck with two timber steps at the bottom. We can provide the oil if need. We will also will screw all the screws down so none are exposed before sanding. Job in Nambour. Deck will obviously be clear and empty. You need to provide sander & tools for oiling etc. thank you!

This kwila deck is in good condition (see photos) but hasn't been oiled for 2-3 years. The scope is: 1. Remove and replace about 1 metre of decayed battens with H4 treated timber and refix affected decking. 2. Clean and re-oil the entire front and back deck of house. (Approx 30m2 total). Use good quality cleaner and 2 coats of decking oil. Would prefer a quote on the job after site inspection to ensure it is a fair price for the work involved and to include the cost of all materials. Must be an experienced handiman in this type of work.
