Experienced Carpenter Needed to Assist with Composite Deck Installation Looking for an experienced carpenter or decking installer to help build a composite deck at a residential property in Oakleigh East VIC. I will assist with labour but need someone experienced to guide the installation, bring tools and handle most heavy lifting. PROJECT Rear deck approx 37 m² Front deck approx 7.5 m² Total approx 44–45 m² Raised platform about 300 mm high with one step down. Composite decking boards with straight runs (no picture frame border). Likely freestanding frame over existing hard / soft surface. SCOPE • Build and set out timber subframe • Ensure frame is square and level • Install composite decking boards with clip system • Assist with step framing and finishing TOOLS Please bring standard carpentry tools (drop saw, circular saw, drill/impact driver, level/laser). MATERIALS I am sourcing boards but happy to purchase through you if you can get better trade pricing. TIMING Approx 2–3 days work. Timber deck in need of a sand and oil. Been neglecting the task for a couple of years. Size of the deck approx 10m x 5m.

Looking for someone to sand and oil the timber decks in the front and alfresco. May need at least two coats. Decking oil will be provided.

Timber deck needs fixing. 2 slats have been damaged as per the 1st picture (taken through a window), likely occuring when our dogs have walked over these weak spots. There is another weak spot nearby on a different slat that we've found that has yet to develop a hole, but is soft under foot. In the 2nd pic, 1 slat has become dislodged, guessing because the screws have become loose or broken. Many thanks

Had horrible decking installation by Andrew Belic Construction (owner only show up on first day along with a dodgy helper who left our door opened everyday without notifying us at all - nightmare experience) and no response of since. We’re forced to find a solution from other installer because the timber decking had various issues such as minor peeling (many tradies that came by commented that it lack finishing but the timber provider Britek claim it doesn’t need), wide gaps, unsupported planks (danger), and continue growing of weeds from underneath decking through gaps. We got some replacement timber from Britek but would need professional advise on what’s going on and wrong before making decision on how to fix it. Price negotiable.
