Test and connect data ports to nbn, plus create a new port in one of the room. House is a new build. I have a switch and about 8x1m Ethernet cables. Nbn is connected and Vodafone modem is operational

I’m looking for an experienced cybersecurity / network intrusion specialist to attend my home and carry out a full security audit. I need someone to help me setup my own VPN server and configure the home network (including modem and router) and teach me how to connect to my home vpn while I am using an external network. I have a Synology 218+ NAS, which has OpenVPN. I also have computers that can be used as a server. I managed to set up the OpenVPN server and was able to connect to the server from the client, but I have not been able to use the internet once connected to the VPN. I suspect there is a DNS issue and a port forwarding issue. Not sure.

We have an opticom/uniti network (NBN) and as well as Optus 4g. Connecting directly is working, but when the network is plugged into the rack which supply network to access points etc it’s not working need this fixed

Issues with connecting to internet with wifi extenders

Have had Unifi network running for 5 years - including security cameras - now having issue with corrupted cloud key, would also like to optimise set-up - Due date: Flexible

I have a desktop pc and 2 laptops connected to my home network. All have been visible to each other and files on the desktop have been accessed by all machines over a lengthy period. There is an extender used by one of the laptops and the desktop is connected via ethernet. I am replacing the desktop with a new laptop and have added it to the network and, as far as I can see, sharing is set up properly on all machines but I am getting Access Denied messages and I am ready to give up on finding out what is going on. I am looking for someone who understands small home networks like this to sort it all out. Eventually, I will be removing the desktop and the new laptop will act as the central file repository but I need all pcs on the network initially to facilitate transferring files & programs to the new machine. Hi there, we have a business that has 5 PCs connected to a network. We seem to have network issues fairly regularly where the applications we are using slow right down. It seems to happen mostly in the afternoon. Would just like some advice on what we need to do improve our network performance. Is there one PC that’s causing issues? is the network switch the wrong type? Is it something else entirely. Also, we have NBN but have no wifi. Happy to pay an hourly rate. Thanks
