I purchased a Google Home last week and hot spotted it successfully but since then I have not been able to and have spent many hours trying. I’m wondering whether I really need NBN instead of trying to hotspot but don’t really want to spend the extra money just for Google home. I have a 2009 Imac that is very slow but in great condition. I want to save all contents to a drive then wipe it clean and update the software to hopefully have it working better. Please let me know if you can do this or have any advice. The computer itself hasn't been used much and has been sitting in my wardrobe for 4 years now.. only turned on every so often and used for internet browsing.
