We’re looking for an experienced, multi-skilled IT professional to assist with a comprehensive on-site IT clean-up and reconfiguration. The scope of work includes: - Assessing approximately 15 computers (Apple & PC) to determine whether they should be repaired, reused, or discarded - Reviewing and cataloguing data across ~20 hard drives, with consolidation of required data onto a central server - Rationalising server rack space, consolidating 4 full-size racks down to 3 - Removing redundant cabling and tidying existing wiring - Configuring our internal network, including secure wired access and secure Wi-Fi - Ensuring best-practice security protocols are followed throughout Requirements: - Strong experience with Apple (macOS), Microsoft (Windows), and Linux environments - Solid understanding of network configuration, online security structures, and protocols - Comfortable working independently and documenting findings clearly - Experience with server racks, cabling, and hardware audits is essential Timeframe & Budget: Estimated 2–4 days of work, however we are flexible if the task reasonably requires longer.
