Map home ethernet network, set up bridge

$60

Canberra ACT, Australia

24th Jul 2019

I've just moved into a place with four rooms with ethernet ports, but I can't figure out which port leads to which port. I'd like help mapping the ports, moving the modem to the different room (there are telephone outlets in each room), and possibly setting up a "bridge" with a spare modem down one end of the house utilising an ethernet port. I have a TP-Link modem, and a standard issue iinet modem. I'm on VDSL2 with iinet. You would need a network toner, knowledge of how to switch the modem to another room, knowledge of how to set up a bridge.

Timothy was professional, knowledgable, courteous and thorough. we will definitely look to engage him again on any future IT/networking/cabling jobs
