Have moved into my grandfather’s house as he has moved into a nursing home. It’s a big house that he built himself and didn’t keep the cleanest. The house was left in a bad state, carpets need vacuuming, walls need cleaning, dust/cobwebs everywhere. Tiles and grout neglected. Oven left filthy. Alongside general clutter, which my mum and I are cleaning ourselves. The house was terrible when we moved in, we have since hired gardeners, landscapers and had professional carpet cleaning as my grandfather’s cats have left urine/fecal stains. The house is also quite damp and humid so there is mould on surfaces. Looking for someone who can help me fix up his house and bring it back to a state where my mum and I can live in it comfortably while we figure out my grandpas end of life care.
