Our BBQ needs a proper deep clean - it's lived on the balcony a while and there's heavy carbon and grease buildup. Looking for someone to collect it, clean it off-site, and bring it back. THE BBQ Ziegler & Brown "Ziggy" Twin Grill (LPG, 2 burners). Cast-iron vitreous enamel hotplate, two cast-iron grills, domed roasting hood, sitting on its wheeled trolley cart. WHAT I NEED - Collect the bowl-and-hood unit off the trolley from our apartment in Pyrmont. The trolley/cart and the gas bottle stay here, so it's the BBQ body only - but it's cast iron and a solid lift, so please come prepared (hand trolley or a second pair of hands). - Full degrease and clean: heavy carbonised buildup inside the roasting hood, both cast-iron grills, the hotplate (some surface rust to bring back), the burners, and the bowl/drip area. - Return it and refit it on the trolley. TIMING Flexible on the day - weekday or weekend both fine, and I can arrange building access. It just needs to be collected and returned by Sunday 30 August. OPTIONAL EXTRA - PLEASE PRICE SEPARATELY The LPG hose and regulator are visibly cracked and perished where the hose meets the manifold. If you're licensed and set up to do it, I'd like a separate quote to replace the hose and regulator while you have the unit. BUDGET $200 for the clean including pick-up and drop-off. Happy to consider offers if that doesn't stack up for a unit this size - just tell me what you'd need and why. I have photos of the condition and of the hose - happy to send them through.

I need a deep clean done on our BBQ. There is layers of fat, oil and rust that needs to be scraped off the hot plate (we have instructions on this). The stainless steel also needs to be cleaned and polished. Also there is a lot of grease that needs to be cleaned from underneath the BBQ.

Bbq sustained some mistreatment during the move down and ended up with old coal ash all over the insides along with oil from cooking. Needs a good scrub.
