Hello, We are looking for an experienced carpenter, joiner, or skilled handyman to repair a broken door hinge at our retail store, in Westfield Whitford City. The Issue: The bottom hinge on one of our main shopfront doors has completely broken and come off its mounting. This is a significant safety concern as the remaining hinges are now under extra strain, and the door is not secure. The Job: The task is to professionally repair the door and make it safe and fully functional again. The scope of work will involve: 1. Assessing the damage to the door and the door jamb where the hinge has pulled out. 2. Supplying and installing a new, heavy-duty hinge that is appropriate for a commercial shopfront door. 3. Securely re-hanging the door, ensuring it is properly aligned and hangs straight. 4. Checking and tightening the remaining hinges on the door to ensure their integrity. 5. Adjusting all hinges so the door swings smoothly and closes correctly. Please note: The successful contractor must supply ALL necessary materials for the job, including the correct heavy-duty replacement hinge and any required fixings. I dropped a small bottle of wax dye and it got on my house slippers and I tracked it over the vinyl flooring of the house from the kitchen to my room. I've tried cleaning it with vinegar and baking soda, acetone and a mixture of bleach and floor cleaner. Nothing brought the stains up except for the acetone but that left further white stains on the vinyl. If you can remove the stains off of the vinyl I'd be very happy.

I'd like to remove the shelves (where the micowave is) and open up the counter space below, however I am concerned that the overhead cabinets do not seem to be attached to either the celing or the wall (and so these may be unsable if the shelving is removed). Ideally I would like to keep the overhead cabinets as they match the rest of the kitcen layout. Additionally I wouldn't mind adjusting the depth of the top draw to be a few cm deeper (which would probably require modifying the draws below as well). I am looking for advice on how to go about achieving this and then probably some help installing the decided solution. It would be great to have someone come take a look and help come up with a plan.

Looking for someone to build a deck extension approx. 1m wide x 5m long. The area is currently bricked and the new section needs to join onto the existing deck. The existing deck is over 10 years old and we plan to stain the whole area so the new section blends in and hides flaws. We’re after the most cost-effective option and are happy to consider either a handyman or a qualified tradesperson, knowing the price will differ. We are also open to using reclaimed decking, as new timber may look out of place next to the old section. Please provide a quote and availability.
