I am looking for someone to help customise a recessed/curved wall feature in my rental property. Hole opening is approximately 145cm x 70cm. There’s currently a hollow section (photos attached) that I’d like to cover so it can be used as a small console/shelf for decor. What I’m after: • A wooden top either: • fitted flush inside the opening, or • sitting on top with a slight overhang (open to your advice on what will look best) • Cut to size and installed securely A few notes: • I’ve tried using it as a planter, but it doesn’t have drainage (plus I don’t like the look with soil or stones) • This is a rental, so I’d like to keep things simple, affordable, and non-permanent where possible • I’m mainly just wanting to cover the hole neatly and turn it into a usable surface for styling (plants, lamp, etc.) Materials: • Happy for you to: • use materials you already have, or • source and cut something (e.g. timber panel/bench top) — I’ll cover the cost About me: • I’m not handy at all 😅 so I’m looking for someone who can guide the best approach and handle the whole thing Please include: • Your idea for the best solution (flush vs overhang) • Approx cost (labour + materials if sourcing) • Availability Thanks!

I am turning my study into a library. I want to make feature bookshelves and do up some IKEA Billy Bookcases. I'd like arches on the top of them made out of plywood so that I can then add moulding and skirting. I am hoping to have the bookshelves have a 'built in' look.

Existing 70's cabinets need to be cut to fit a slimline dishwasher where one hasn't existed previously, but I'd like to know if it's possible given the construction of the cabinets and price range.

Repairing the wood handrail on the stairways and landing from the ground floor to the first floor on a small 8 unit apartment building. The stairway railing is 4200mm long, 120mm x 40mm hardwood (unknown type). The balustrade posts are 1100mm, 120mm x 40mm hardwood. Lower rail is 4200mm long, 80mm x 40mm hardwood. Pickets are 40mm x 40mm. The landing size is 1440mm x 1130mm , 120mmx40mm rail and 1100mm height. Bolted into concrete and also extra steel angle supports. There are two stairways of the same dimensions on either side of the first floor concrete walkway.

Cabinets are Ikea/Bunnings or similar ready made kitchen that are at least 10 years old and installed before I purchased my unit, consequently have no idea of brand or installers name. Over the years doors dont form tidy alignment and I've replaced a couple of hinges. Now another door hing broken.

Install 2 ikea cabinets to wall. Must have your own tools and fixings for a brick wall.

Hi! We need help cleaning oil/grease stains off our garage floor (see photos). Looking for someone who can: •Bring their own cleaning products + equipment (degreaser, scrubber, maybe a small pressure washer if you have one 🚿). •Scrub and lift as much of the staining as possible so the floor looks much fresher. •Job is just the stained patches, not the entire garage. I have two alcoves in my downstairs living area which I’d like to make more functional. I’d like to make one a coffee bar - fit a wine fridge and some shelves. (I already have wine fridge.) And the other a cupboard with shelves above. It’s a townhouse on Ninth Ave in Maylands. We had a water leak from the dishwasher, causing damage to the wood holding up the cabinets, as well as discolouration to the floor boards. Looking at the photos you can see the edge of the wooden blocks propping up the cabinets has split at floor level. Discolouration of the floor seen in pic Looking to fix both.

There's soap scum on the shower glass; wall tiles; and walls. There's a stain on the induction glass top. I have attached a couple of images. I need it professionally cleaned. Please bid if you can get the job done. Thanks:)

Kitchen slab - slightly burnt in the corner, perhaps fix it so it looks good and neat. one tile cracked- fill in the tile and make it look even a few carpet stains to be cleaned. painting a portion of the door which has been scraped.

I have three new doors that are similar to the ones on the photo that need replacing hinges and handles put on , need a carpenter because apparently you need to trim the doors down, sometimes a little bit on site

There's a 3mm at deepest point burn hole in my 1550mm x 900mm solid wood (oak I think) table top. Brurn needs sanding out and refilling to become as invisible as possible. Whole top needs to be sanded and revarnished with 2 coats polyurethane.
