Hi, I’m looking for a carpenter (experienced or even a confident junior carpenter) to assist me with a few practical carpentry tasks for my skills assessment. I will be performing the tasks myself, but I need guidance and support to ensure everything is done correctly. I have white card and whole ppe. ⚠️ Important: You must bring your own basic carpentry tools and equipment required to complete these tasks. Or I can join you at your site to perform these tasks. I’m flexible on the dates. I’m flexible with location — we can work at my place (garage or nearby area), or I can travel to your location if you have a suitable workspace. ⸻ Tasks involved: 1. Set out the perimeter of a building or structure * Install pegs, hurdles, or profiles * Establish building lines using string lines * Set out corners accurately * Apply squaring/triangulation techniques and check diagonals I just need the equipment 2. Construct and erect a load-bearing wall frame (small scale) * Install bottom (lower) plate and top (upper) plate * Install studs and noggings * Use pegs where required * Ensure frame is aligned, level, and properly positioned (Note: Only one simple wall frame is required, not a full structure. I can do the task at the construction site or we can buy the timber do it anywhere 3. Hang a hinged door and install door jamb * Measure and cut door jamb components * Mark and trench hinge positions * Install jamb square and level * Hang the door with correct margins (Door can be installed in a garage or any suitable practice location.) I just need the equipment

Kitchen cabinets have a few hinges that need to be replaced. There are 4 hinges that are broken and for 2 of them the cabinet doesnt hold the screws in. You might need a couple of repair plates to be attached for the hinges to be screwed in.

a customers wine cabinet door has failed in transit, they require a person to fit the replacement door - top hinge removal and pinned bottom hinge - door is 26KG may require a second person to install. door is full glass front cannot be placed on any edge. images attached showing the unit - should be a simple repair, need ASAP
