We will be getting a CT machine installed in our clinic and they have requested we get a timber beam installed on the current wall in order to support the wall bracket of the machine. Requirements: placement at height of 760mm, minimum 100mm height support, to support a wall bracket measuring 450mm wide and 60mm height. Weight of machine is 113kg, and will be 1500N force outwards when it spins. So timber must be strong enough to support this. See photo of current room, and an image of the machine to be installed (wall bracket circled). No wall cladding removal needed - this is only requiring an external mount for ease and cost reasons.

Job will likely entail: - Assess whether the ceiling framing is timber or steel. - Access the roof space to inspect the framing. - Select and supply appropriate structural fixings for the framing type (I don't want to rely on the standard hardware if it's unsuitable probably likely is). - Install the brackets securely, ensuring the load is properly transferred to the structural framing. - Advise if any additional reinforcement or load-spreading is required before installation.
