Job required: - Remove existing 90cm Fisher & Paykel oven (electrical disconnection by licensed electrician). - Modify cabinet opening to fit a 60cm V-ZUG oven. - Add matching laminate infill panels for a neat, professional finish. - Keep the existing stone benchtop and gas cooktop untouched. I’m looking for an experienced cabinetmaker or tradesperson with cabinetry experience to replace the existing cupboard doors and drawer fronts in our outdoor alfresco kitchen. The existing cabinetry is generally in good condition, so I’m not looking to replace the entire kitchen, just update the visible fronts and address some weather-related deterioration. Measurements (approx.): 5 drawer fronts * 50cm wide × 19cm high 4 cupboard doors * 2 × 50cm wide × 74cm high * 2 × 50cm wide × 52cm high Additional repair: * The exposed side/edge of the cabinetry near the barbecue has deteriorated due to weather exposure and will also need to be repaired or replaced with a suitable weather-resistant material. I’m open to all options for the replacement fronts, including different materials, finishes, colours and handle styles. I’m particularly interested in durable, low-maintenance solutions suitable for an alfresco environment. I’d also be interested in exploring cost-effective alternatives, such as pre-made panels cut to size, rather than having everything custom-manufactured. Ideally, the existing cabinet structures, hinges and drawer mechanisms can be retained wherever practical. I’ve attached photos of the current cabinetry. Hello, I'm looking for someone with experience in cabinetry, built-in wardrobes or joinery to finish an IKEA PAX wardrobe install to make it appear built in and a tidy finish. Scope of works 1. Install infill/filler panels • Fill the gaps between the wardrobe and the side walls with 16mm MR MDF. • Scribe the panels to the walls where required so everything sits flush. • Ideally use moisture-resistant MDF or similar ready for painting. 2. Install a kicker/plinth board • Cover the existing timber base with a neat kicker/plinth with either 16 or 18mm with 16mm MR MDF. • Continue the plinth across the full width so it appears built in. • Minimise visible joins. 3. Finishing • Light sand and prime final cut and fitted pieces • Colour match GRIMO door at Dulux trade centre • Ideally, paint with low sheen Dulux Aquanamel and using high-density foam roller to achieve sprayed-looking texture • Finish neatly against the existing skirting boards and also IKEA base (may require some filling of gaps above plinth / kicker) • Caulk as required.
