Looking for a cabinet maker or handy person with cabinet making experience to cut down a kitchen cabinet and install a new slide out range hood. If you're also able to fill the splash back gap with some cut down tiles, that'd be great too. My gas stove is being replaced. Due to current compliance regulations, the top of the trivet and the bottom of the rangehood needs to have a 650mm clearance. Because this kitchen was done in the early 2000s, it currently has a clearance of 600mm from the cooktop/counter to the rangehood.

We do have timber covered with 2mm aluminium sheet and I car just destroyed coming up the ramp. New sheet will need to be supplied I’ll need another one and probably you’ll need to cut a bit of excess on the one will be installed

I’ve recently had a panel lift/sectional garage door retrofitted to my garage in Carindale. Because the garage wasn’t originally set up for this type of door, there weren’t suitable fixing points in the ceiling where the installer needed to attach the overhead tracks/brackets. The garage door company is coming back to rectify the installation, but before they return I’d like suitable structural fixing points installed above the ceiling. There is good access to the roof/ceiling space via a manhole, with plenty of room to work. I’m looking for an experienced carpenter/framer who can assess the existing roof/ceiling framing and install appropriate timber blocking/noggins or other suitable structural framing at the required locations, so the garage door installer has solid fixing points for their brackets. I can provide photos and indicate where the garage door brackets/fixing points need to be located. Location: Carindale, QLD Timing: Ideally completed before the garage door company returns. Having my house demolished but kitchen cabinets are good quality. Need them removed so I can transport prior to demo. All appliances are already out so just cabinets and benchtops.

I am fixing a small deck/step. I don't own a circular saw. I need someone to cut and install 2 x wood to support wooden boards ( I am attaching the wooden boards to the frame) and cut plastic drainage channel to fit two corner pieces. I am installing the drainage channel myself.

I purchased this from Bunnings: https://www.bunnings.com.au/specrite-2700-x-600-x-21mm-oak-timber-acoustic-panel_p0455959 I would like it to be cut and installed on the edge of my fridge cabinet, which measures approximately 600mm wide and 2100mm high. I'm looking for a clean cut, so it looks as close to built-in as possible. The tasker must use appropriate method and tools for this material (e.g. cut from slat side, tape to prevent tear-out, fine-tooth blade). They must also have the ability to tidy and reinforce the cut edge (glue/re-secure slats if needed). Hoping to have it installed using adhesive (no visible screws) with the panel to sit flush with cabinet face. I can provide the instructions if need be and I'm happy to pay for quality. Cheers, Alex
