I've had an oversized old oven removed by an electrician and replaced it with a new standard-size Westinghouse oven. The cabinet cavity is now too large, so I need a carpenter or cabinetmaker to: Build and install a sturdy shelf inside the cavity to support the new standard-size oven at the correct height (oven specs can be provided). Build and install a drawer below the oven shelf to fill the remaining space, matching the existing cabinetry as closely as possible. The existing cabinets are white gloss with a soft-close drawer mechanism and silver-look handles (see photos). I'd like the new shelf/drawer front to match this finish and style as closely as possible — gloss white panels with a matching handle if achievable. What's needed: Site visit to measure and confirm oven dimensions/clearances Supply and install a structural shelf to support the oven Supply and install a matching drawer (soft-close preferred) below Reasonable finish-matching to existing white gloss cabinetry/handles (doesn't need to be an exact factory match, just close) Photos attached showing the cavity, surrounding cabinetry, and existing hardware. Looking for a licenced carpenter/builder to quote & repair an existing rear patio attached to my house. Work required: -Replace several sections of rotten timber. -Remove and dispose of all existing corrugated roofing sheets. -Supply and install new roofing sheets with suntuf solar grey. -Supply and install flashing -Replace old gutter with new full length. Looking for an experienced carpenter who can help replace and install 4 new internal doors. Don't have the doors yet, thinking HUME LIN1's, and swapping out hollow core doors with new timber/glass ones. All slightly different sizes, so will need good skills to make perfect. Can stain myself eventually, but we already have similar doors installed elsewhere and trying to match colour - so happy to discuss if thats something that can also be done. Early days, but happy to discuss a complete solution if you can supply the doors (or pickup)- but timber look is vital after staining and gloss coat - feature doors. Ideally someone who has done these sort of door swaps before and knows timber looks and can do a professional finish.

Looking for a skilled carpenter or cabinetmaker to design and build custom shelving to display a collection of statues at my parents’ new home. This is a two-stage job. 1. Inspection & consultation. Come out to assess the wall and alcove areas where the shelving will go, take measurements, and look at the statues themselves (varying sizes and weights) so you can recommend suitable shelf designs, depths, spacing and load support. I’d like a few options to choose from. 2. Build & install. We have a 3 bed 1 bath cottage Queenslander. We need the hoop pine sanding back and staining a custom mix colour and finish. We want Matt finish and to pull the orange out of it. My existing timber pergola has an illegal roof pitch due to ground movement at one end. Insurance company has stated insurance may be denied until pitch is corrected. I would like to have someone look at this and correct the problem.

I need doors installed where there is currently a large opening. This requires carpentry skills as it needs the surrounding wall and fixtures, no existing structure. The current space is 1960mm wide. As you can see from photos it’s also taller than standard. I’d prefer double doors eg French doors with a window to allow light, where one side can be fixed when not in use with a bolt in the ground. I have two ambitious cats who need to be kept out of the garage so a barn style door won’t work and the wall needs to reach the ceiling. Please advise if quotes include all materials including doors.
