Looking for an experienced carpenter who can help replace and install 4 new internal doors. Don't have the doors yet, thinking HUME LIN1's, and swapping out hollow core doors with new timber/glass ones. All slightly different sizes, so will need good skills to make perfect. Can stain myself eventually, but we already have similar doors installed elsewhere and trying to match colour - so happy to discuss if thats something that can also be done. Early days, but happy to discuss a complete solution if you can supply the doors (or pickup)- but timber look is vital after staining and gloss coat - feature doors. Ideally someone who has done these sort of door swaps before and knows timber looks and can do a professional finish.

I need doors installed where there is currently a large opening. This requires carpentry skills as it needs the surrounding wall and fixtures, no existing structure. The current space is 1960mm wide. As you can see from photos it’s also taller than standard. I’d prefer double doors eg French doors with a window to allow light, where one side can be fixed when not in use with a bolt in the ground. I have two ambitious cats who need to be kept out of the garage so a barn style door won’t work and the wall needs to reach the ceiling. Please advise if quotes include all materials including doors.

Carpentry and fixout work

Carpenter wanted! I would like to discuss and quote the replacement of out currently carpeted timber stairs and risers with new, less squeaky, solid timber stairs treads that will match new timber floors we are planning to install. Intent is to complete the job the week after Easter but I need quotes completed this week to give me enough time to source the materials.

Kitchen cabinet doors need refitting or replacing and minor cabinetry work required on a 20 yr old kitchen. I can’t post without o budget price but I need a quote. Licensed & insured professional only please.

I have an existing built in cupboard for a wall oven. Now need to replace with a larger oven from 38cm to 45cm height. Plus the depth will also need altering. A cupboard is behind so ok to do changes Photo one shows current height and the shelf will need to drop by approx 10cms photo 2 shows existing depth that will also need changes

1 X trim cut to one end of 2400mm hardwood benchtop. 3 X cuts for cooker cutout Needs to be accurate with a neat finish Already have the benchtop. I will seal and fix in place on outdoor kitchen once cut.

Timber repair to balcony and re-sheeting with builder paper, fibro cement sheet and facia boards. Replace bottom plate that has rotted. Apply new zincalume angles to corners etc. Require site inspection to determine how best to repair/prepare the balcony for new balustrade that will be installed down the track.
