The project is to build a two-piece upper bed platform for a camper van. The work will involve taking accurate measurements inside the van and creating a template to ensure a precise fit. The platform is mostly rectangular, with only the two rear corners requiring custom shaping to match the contours of the van's interior. Once the template has been finalised, the shape will need to be transferred to the plywood and cut accurately. All exposed edges of the plywood should then be rounded over with a router and neatly finished, similar to the example shown in the reference photos. I will supply the plywood sheet, which is suitable for this application and measures 2400mm x 1200mm x 19mm. A very similar project has already been completed in another van, and I will provide photos, dimensions and measurements as references to make the project easy to visualise. Ideally, I'm looking for someone with experience in camper van fit-outs, cabinetry, or bespoke woodworking projects.
