Hi, I accidentally broke the central wooden support beam on a friend's bed frame, and I need a local handyman to come replace it today (Sunday).I am going to Bunnings this morning to purchase a brand-new piece of structural timber and will have it machine-cut to the exact length of the original beam.What I need you to do:Bring your own tools (an electric drill/driver and a few strong wood screws just in case).Unscrew the old broken wooden beam from the brackets on the headboard and footboard.Screw the new pre-cut timber beam securely into place.Re-attach the vertical middle support leg block to the center underside of the new beam so it is fully stable. Important Details:Materials: I am providing the pre-cut timber. You just need to bring the tools and screws. Timing: Looking for someone who can complete this today (Sunday) anytime in the afternoon or evening.

Door is rubbing against the frame and making noise during operation. Shaving/planing is required to ensure smooth opening and closing. The lower edge on the latch side of the door is rubbing against the door frame. It’s an internal door.

I need a Qualified Carpenter to fit a timber frame to a wide wall opening between rooms. Wall openings Measures 2.4m wide x 2.2 tall and needs to be made in “art deco” style finish, the same as all door frames in the home. See photos.

The wooden panels are rotten. They need to be removed and new wood cut to size and installed on the metalwork frame. Gate is approx 940mm wide and approx 1600mm tall. Latch will need to be r3fitted in new wood panels. I am reliant on you to supply the wood to metal fastners as the currt screws may be rusted and not reusable. I have the new wood on hand. a new raw wood (ash) door will be installed in laundry room on 10 June. The inside needs to be stained to match existing wood in room and the outside of the door needs to be primed and painted. Need an experience master painter who can match the stain.

I have an L shaped cupboard door thats come off, the bottom screws have snapped into the wall I just need the door back on I'm not fussed if the screws are removed or if you just put them in next to it. As long as its functional as it gets opened and closed hundreds of times a day. Otherwise if you can just put the holes in for the new screws I can reattach it myself, I just dont have the tools I need to drill the holes or remove the screws.

Repost for Carpenter /experienced handyman - my fridge is too tall for kitchen cabinetry so I need the small upper unit removed to give approx 5cm needed height. Then using the timber base from that unit install one shelf in the space that I can use for cookbooks etc.
