I’m looking for a carpenter or experienced handyman to build 3 simple timber-framed structures today in Prospect. Two frames either side of an existing fireplace in the front room. These will eventually be clad with decorative MDF/fluted panelling which I have and will complete this evening, I just need the timber framework built, securely fixed and nice and square. There are some NBN/utility boxes behind one side, so the finished design needs to allow access to these. One bench seat frame in the kitchen/dining area, similar to the reference photo attached. Again, I only need the timber structure/frame built at this stage. I’ll organise the finishing/cladding/cushion afterwards. Nothing particularly complicated, essentially 3 sturdy timber frames made from structural pine, cut to size and securely fixed in place. I have photos/reference images showing exactly what I’m wanting and can provide measurements. Ideally looking for someone who can complete this ASAP/today if available. I have just finished renovating and painting my kitchen and would like two timber floating corner shelves installed, one on each side of the sink/window. Each shelf needs to wrap around the corner in an L-shape, as shown in my reference image. I would like both shelves to be the same dimensions and positioned symmetrically. I’m looking for a carpenter or joiner who is confident with precision mitre cuts, as I want the corner joins to look as seamless as possible. I’m flexible on the exact construction method, solid timber, timber veneer or another suitable option, provided the finished shelves have the appearance of solid floating timber shelves with no visible brackets. I am keen on a bench seat being installed against this wall in the kitchen. it is roughly 1100 to 1200 wide and the rest of the measurements should match regular bench seat specs. I would love this done before the weekend please. I have seen people do various hacks with ikea furniture etc... all ideas welcome. I will supply timber as long as you tell me what to buy.

Timber around the door handle and lock has broken away and needs to be repaired/reinforced. Looking for someone experienced with carpentry/door repairs to: * Repair/rebuild the damaged timber around the handle and lock area * Reinforce the area so the lock and handle are securely mounted * Refit the existing handle/lock hardware if it is still usable * Make sure the door opens, closes and locks properly * Finish the repaired area neatly, including filling/sanding as required Would prefer to repair the existing door rather than replace it if possible.
