Looking for a carpenter or experienced handyman available TODAY to build two simple timber frames either side of a fireplace, similar to the attached picture. Approx. 1200mm wide × 1000mm high each. They are shallow frames that will later be covered with decorative panelling. One side needs to frame around existing NBN boxes while keeping them accessible. Straightforward job for someone with the right tools and experience. Need this completed today. I will pay for timber battons on top… you can either bring materials with you or I can go buy now to have ready…

I have an empty wall in the laundry and I want to use it to conceal broom, vacuum, ironing board etc… I don’t want to install a cupboard because the depth I have is only 350mm… I would prefer to build a timber frame from floor to ceiling to conceal the items with screening or cladding… I would attach the broom etc directly into the wall behind it with hooks… I have the example pictured of what I need built and installed. I would want it roughly 800 wide I think.. I’m flexible with the width though..:

I have just finished renovating and painting my kitchen and would like two timber floating corner shelves installed, one on each side of the sink/window. Each shelf needs to wrap around the corner in an L-shape, as shown in my reference image. I would like both shelves to be the same dimensions and positioned symmetrically. I’m looking for a carpenter or joiner who is confident with precision mitre cuts, as I want the corner joins to look as seamless as possible. I’m flexible on the exact construction method, solid timber, timber veneer or another suitable option, provided the finished shelves have the appearance of solid floating timber shelves with no visible brackets. Just tell me what to buy from bunnings and have ready for you! Job to be done today if possible please!

I am keen on a bench seat being installed against this wall in the kitchen. it is roughly 1100 to 1200 wide and the rest of the measurements should match regular bench seat specs. I would love this done before the weekend please. I have seen people do various hacks with ikea furniture etc... all ideas welcome. I will supply timber as long as you tell me what to buy.

Timber around the door handle and lock has broken away and needs to be repaired/reinforced. Looking for someone experienced with carpentry/door repairs to: * Repair/rebuild the damaged timber around the handle and lock area * Reinforce the area so the lock and handle are securely mounted * Refit the existing handle/lock hardware if it is still usable * Make sure the door opens, closes and locks properly * Finish the repaired area neatly, including filling/sanding as required Would prefer to repair the existing door rather than replace it if possible. I have an active insurance claim but they won’t fix internal damage u til I fix externals. Outside my wheelhouse, so need help. Small section of rear corner of eaves is damaged and needs replacing/repair. Will require some timber (probably less than 1m) and some eave cladding (1 sheet - I assume?). I can paint myself later. Photos attached. Feel free to ask questions or drop in to inspect. Because of sloping block roof access is easy ( can just walk on). Also have rear yard access from back street.

Kitchen cabinet door hinges needs adjusting. Nothing is broken, just hinge adjustment so the doors can close properly

4 Timbers need to be screwed on the back (each as, just follow the instructions), and 2 vents need to be swapped around on most the inside (3 screws in each vent). All material and screws are there

I have an L shaped cupboard door thats come off, the bottom screws have snapped into the wall I just need the door back on I'm not fussed if the screws are removed or if you just put them in next to it. As long as its functional as it gets opened and closed hundreds of times a day. Otherwise if you can just put the holes in for the new screws I can reattach it myself, I just dont have the tools I need to drill the holes or remove the screws.
