Looking to for someone who has table saws, drop saw and finish gun etc I don’t have any of my tools here as I now live in the US and here for a week and wasn’t sure what I was walking into. Looking for a carpenter to build freestanding timber stud frames for temporary internal walls in an undercover garage, to create an art studio. Plywood sheets will be fixed to the frames. Walls do not need to be structural or permanent. About 3M by 3M space. Two walls are needed that would join up to brick wall of house / garage and is undercover and has roof. The beam in the photo could be used as the boundary point and where the frame links up or where the walls line up

Outside timber stairs are weather damaged and need to be replaced - approx 16 steps x 1m long. Would like them replaced with the same type of timber if possible. Quote to include sourcing timber and cost of new timber, removal of old steps and replace them using own tools and equipment.

I’m looking for a carpenter or someone with strong carpentry skills to complete a few finishing jobs around the house. 1. Refit / install skirting boards There are two areas that need skirting put back on: * Bedroom with newly installed built-in wardrobes – the existing skirting was removed to accommodate the wardrobes and now needs to be cut/modified and refitted neatly around them. * Spare bedroom corner – the skirting was removed due to previous pet damage, and the carpet was pulled back. This now needs to be reinstated. I have most of the original skirting pieces that were removed, including the pieces from around the wardrobes. I also have some additional new skirting available if required. I’m looking for someone who is confident with accurate cutting, joining, measuring and fitting skirting, particularly around corners/wardrobes, and who can achieve a clean, professional finish. Please note: I will be doing all the sanding, filling and painting myself. This job is purely for the cutting, fitting and fixing of the skirting. 2. Hang a new internal door I also need a brand-new internal door hung. The door has not had the hinges/hardware cut in yet, so this will require the appropriate hinge recessing/preparation and fitting. There was previously a door in this opening, so the existing frame and previous hinge positions can be used as a guide. I already have the door and all required hardware — I just need someone experienced to measure, cut/prep and hang it properly. Ideally looking for someone with carpentry experience who takes pride in getting a neat, accurate finish.

We have 2 double door carcasses that need fixing to the ceiling and walls above our fridge. They need to sit inside the alcove flush to celing and walls. Attached to rafters in roof and studs on walls

In order to fit my fridge into the space, need some help to: - Remove skirting board on the sides of fridge cavity. ( fridge is 880mm, fridge cavity including skirting board is 900mm) - Either build a small cabinet on top of fridge OR shorten the existing one OR move the cabinet higher. The existing cabinet has been removed but can be reused. The existing cabinet is only a few centimeters long. We were told the hinge mount could be tricky to remove since it is stick to the cavity right now( see photo) - paint the cavity if needed and move the fridge in. Please quote for labour only.
