Hi there, I’m having an issue with the Bluetooth in my 2012 Subaru Forester. It connects fine — I can play music and hear people on calls — but they can’t hear me. It seems like the microphone isn’t working. A while back I did a DIY radio swap, but I’ve since gone back to the original head unit. It’s possible I just didn’t reconnect something properly when reinstalling it. I’m not looking to replace the radio — just someone to assess the issue and fix it if it’s a simple reconnection or minor repair. Hi. I need my Sony xav 5000 head unit hooked up to my 2012 Subaru liberty (wiring was strange as it had a McIntosh system). I though I could do it myself but I can't. Previous owner also had aftermarket system (Kenwood). Only things Im actually stuck on are the steering wheel controls and could use some help with reverse camera.
