I need the thermostat and alternator belt installed on a Toyota Townace 1997. Both parts are supplied. I do not have coolant supplied though. I am looking for a confident mechanic to complete the job with their own tools, including waste removal. The thermostat has a gasket but from what I know would need sealant. I believe there is appropriate sealant in the van, but bringing your own would be ideal (the van is located away from home). Please note that the temperature gauge is non-functional, I understand that this could limit testing post job which is fine as long as everything looks okay.

Hi, I’m seeking an inspection and quote for rectification work on my 2006 Lexus IS250. The vehicle was recently returned to me following panel and paint work; however, the roof rail / drip rail mouldings were not properly refitted and associated clips/components appear to be missing. I have attached photos showing: • the mouldings/rails left loose in the rear seat of the vehicle; and • text correspondence confirming the clips were never replaced or reassembled. I need the roof/drip rail moulding retaining clips for a 2006 Lexus IS250. The clip part number appears to be 75545-53011.” The parts are typically referred to as: windshield moulding clips, drip rail moulding clips, roof side moulding retaining clips, or roof rail trim clips. I would appreciate: • inspection of the current condition; • confirmation of any missing clips/components; • refitting/reassembly of the roof rail mouldings; and • a written quote for all rectification work required. If possible, I would also appreciate brief written commentary regarding whether the current condition indicates incomplete assembly or unfinished work. The vehicle is a 2006 Lexus IS250.
