I am looking for someone with experience in automotive trim or mechanics to fix the shark fin antenna on my Kia Sorento. I accidentally bumped the antenna against a garage door while reversing. There is now a small gap between the antenna base and the roof. The Task: • Access the antenna mounting bolt by partially dropping the rear of the interior headliner (lining). • Note: This car has a panoramic sunroof, so the headliner is rigid and needs to be handled carefully to avoid creasing. • Tighten the mounting nut to reseal the antenna against the roof. • Ideally, apply a small amount of automotive silicone sealant to ensure it is 100% watertight. • Ensure no damage to the headliner or the sunroof drainage tubes.
