I have an old Land Rover 3.5v8 County 110. I’ve pulled the old engine and have a low mileage replacement, that has sat under covers for years. I’m looking for an older guy with experience in Rover v8s to give me a hand to refurbish the engine and reinstall it into the car. I have most of the tools and parts needed.

Looking for a qualified auto electrician to mount a front lightbar on my 2015 Mazda CX-5 GT KE series 2. Because this vehicle features factory-fitted Adaptive LED headlights it wont be a basic plug-and-play job. I can supply a $45 STEDI Single Connector SMART Harness which features an internal microprocessor designed to handle modern digital high-beam voltage fluctuations. I think you can snip the vehicle-specific plastic connector plug off the end of the STEDI trigger lead, strip back the casing to expose the bare positive and negative trigger wires, and cleanly splice them directly into the factory high-beam active wire at the main headlight cluster loom. Obviously I'm not an electrician so I wont know for sure if thisbis possible. The microprocessor inside the harness should safely manage the relay signaling without throwing dashboard error codes? Obviously again unsure. Im based in Yeronga but have to do it from anywhere. Trying to find the cheapest option

Hi, I have a 2012 Nissan Dualis 2.0 petrol. My current mechanic inspected the car and advised that the rear left wheel bearing is worn and the front left driveshaft is leaking grease. I would like an experienced mechanic to inspect both issues and provide a second opinion. For the rear wheel bearing, please check whether only the left bearing needs replacing or whether the right side also needs replacing. For the front left driveshaft, please check whether it is only the CV boot (rubber boot/manchette) that is damaged and leaking grease, or whether the CV joint/driveshaft itself is damaged and needs replacing. I would like a quote for the recommended repair options after inspection. Please include an estimated cost for the possible repairs after inspection, including replacing only the rear left wheel bearing, replacing only the CV boot, and replacing the complete front left driveshaft if required. Damage: Left front inner guard liner has separated from the vehicle entirely. Old part retained and available. 1. Jack the car , remove left front road wheel. 2. Fit new liner to the guard lip, sill flange and lower bumper flange. 3. Replace all push clips and screw rivets with new. Torque the two lower fixing bolts to spec. 4. Inspect the rear arch strip currently hanging loose at the back of the wheel arch. Identify whether it is the sill moulding front section or a liner tab, and re-secure 5. Inspect the wiring loom and ABS sensor lead exposed in the arch for chafing, grit ingress or connector damage while the wheel is off. 6. Refit wheel, torque wheel nuts to spec.

Car: Ford Falcon FG G6E, auto Problem: the shift selector cable bushing at the gearbox end has let go (a common Falcon fault). RACQ has already attended, confirmed it's the bushing, and manually put the car into neutral. Before that the shifter was sliding through P/R/N/D doing nothing and the dash was stuck on P. Just need the bushing repaired. It's in an underground residential carpark in the Brisbane CBD city - height clearance is 2m. There's a couple of security gates so I'd need to jump in on street level and guide you down.

I require a handy man to attach my two front sun visors to my Toyota corolla. I have both sun visors however they keep falling off.
