Approx dimensions: • Concrete slab remains and is not to be removed (should be preserved) • No electrical or drainage to deal with • 15 metres long • 10 metres wide • Approx 4.6 metre high skillion roof on the high side • Large full height roller • A few windows • Insulated roof • No internal lining The shed was storm damaged and is structurally compromised, so it must be dismantled safely. Scope of work: • Full demolition of shed structure • Cut up and separate steel components • Remove all roofing, wall sheets, framing, insulation • Remove roller door and windows • Remove all debris from site • Leave slab clean and clear Important: I am open to you factoring scrap steel value into your quote. If you can coordinate with a scrap metal yard to collect and offset costs, that is fine. We need a small reinforced concrete slab constructed beside our driveway, against the house/boundary fence. The finished slab needs to be approximately 1100mm × 450mm × 100mm thick and completely level/flat, as it will be used as a base for gas bottles. Work required: * Saw-cut and remove a small section of the existing concrete driveway to create sufficient space for the slab. * Existing driveway is approximately 100mm thick. * Approximate saw cuts required: * 1100mm long * 120mm long * Remove and dispose of all cut concrete/rubble. * Excavate/prepare the area as required and provide a suitable compacted base. * Form up the slab. The house/boundary side can form two edges of the area, with formwork required to the remaining exposed edges as appropriate. * Install steel mesh reinforcement, adequately supported within the slab. * Pour a 1100mm × 450mm × 100mm reinforced concrete slab. * Slab must be perfectly level, despite the adjoining driveway being on a fairly steep gradient. * The new slab must not follow the slope of the driveway or simply be poured onto/joined to the sloping driveway. * Neat finished edges and surface. * Remove all waste and leave the area tidy. Access is straightforward from the driveway. I’ve attached photos showing the location and the section of driveway that needs to be cut. Please quote including labour, concrete, reinforcing mesh, formwork/base materials, concrete saw cutting and removal/disposal of the old concrete. Please also let me know if you have experience with small reinforced concrete slabs and whether you have your own concrete saw/equipment.
