I have an outdoor pergola timber post with a small section of soft, rotted wood at the beam joint connection. Require a tradesperson to cut away the deteriorated timber, repair the area with epoxy filler, apply wood treatment, sand smooth and touch up the white paint to match the current finish. Photos provided to show the affected spot. No major structural failure at present, just localised surface decay needing tidy repair and protection.

I have a covered outdoor pergola with an insulated Colorbond metal roof and built-in LED downlights. Water is leaking from one of the downlight openings during or after rain. I have removed the downlight and can see water inside that particular roof cavity. The issue appears to be isolated to a single downlight, as all the other downlights remain dry. The gutters have already been cleaned, so I need someone to inspect and identify the source of the leak (e.g. roof sheet, flashing, screws, gutter connection, or seal) and carry out the necessary repairs to stop water entering the roof cavity.
