I need a professional tradie/business to seal my new driveway (just completed around 5 weeks ago). Quote should include all necessary prep work to get the sealing done. This task is to come and have a look at my driveway and quote for labour and materials, Approx 200 sqm. I’d like colour seal and the person quoting must have experience and tools to get the job done, should I decide to proceed with work, which I will post separately on this platform. Location is Westbrook.

We’ve got electric swinging driveway gates (Centsys brand). They’ve stopped working. Had a sparky out and he said it’s likely the gate motor as there’s no issues with power to it. Happy to fix or replace and not fussed on branding, as long as it works.

Apologies, airtasker removed previous post with no explanation. Looking for an experienced gate fabricator/welder to repair our existing pedestrian and driveway gate setup. Work required: Supply and replace existing heavy-duty steel gate post, powder coated black to match. Remove the pedestrian gate. Repair/re-weld the cracked welds around the section where the McGrath digital lock/handle is mounted (photos attached). Powder coat/refinish the repaired pedestrian gate so the repair is properly protected and matches the existing black finish. Reinstall the pedestrian gate and ensure it is correctly aligned and operates smoothly. Reinstall/cut in the striker for the McGrath digital lock into the replacement post and ensure the lock operates correctly. Install an existing magnetic lock used by the adjoining gate onto the replacement post and ensure alignment/operation. Make good any areas affected by the work. Looking for a proper, neat and durable repair, not simply welding over the existing cracks while the gate is in place. Please quote for the complete job including supply of the replacement post, fabrication, welding, powder coating and installation. Photos attached showing the existing setup and damage.

I want to install these solar powered cats eyes. One went in easy (new cement) I tried to install it into the more established cement driveway and I only get like 20mm down before it just stops. I need better equipment. Can someone help me out?

Need help to finish a garden shed assembly. Shed is 3.8x 2.25, height 2.3. I have already assembled 3 panels and one roof panel. Tuesday I will be assembling more so This week would be good. We need a small reinforced concrete slab constructed beside our driveway, against the house/boundary fence. The finished slab needs to be approximately 1100mm × 450mm × 100mm thick and completely level/flat, as it will be used as a base for gas bottles. Work required: * Saw-cut and remove a small section of the existing concrete driveway to create sufficient space for the slab. * Existing driveway is approximately 100mm thick. * Approximate saw cuts required: * 1100mm long * 120mm long * Remove and dispose of all cut concrete/rubble. * Excavate/prepare the area as required and provide a suitable compacted base. * Form up the slab. The house/boundary side can form two edges of the area, with formwork required to the remaining exposed edges as appropriate. * Install steel mesh reinforcement, adequately supported within the slab. * Pour a 1100mm × 450mm × 100mm reinforced concrete slab. * Slab must be perfectly level, despite the adjoining driveway being on a fairly steep gradient. * The new slab must not follow the slope of the driveway or simply be poured onto/joined to the sloping driveway. * Neat finished edges and surface. * Remove all waste and leave the area tidy. Access is straightforward from the driveway. I’ve attached photos showing the location and the section of driveway that needs to be cut. Please quote including labour, concrete, reinforcing mesh, formwork/base materials, concrete saw cutting and removal/disposal of the old concrete. Please also let me know if you have experience with small reinforced concrete slabs and whether you have your own concrete saw/equipment.
