I wish to replace the left fence panel next to my gate with a brick wall & parcel box using bricks that were originally from our chimney. Hi there, I am demolishing a brick fireplace that (it’s not original to my heritage house), so I am trying to restore the fireplace to its original form. I started demoing the bricks and realised there is likely one section that will require a brick saw or some kind of jack hammering. I only want some of the facade bricks removed, and I think that’ll involve a brick saw? Check out the pics for reference (note the bricks highlighted in blue are single layer, ie there is nothing behind them.. bricks highlighted in green are attached to other bricks, but I only want that single layer removed). You’ll need your own tools but hopefully this should be a small job :) * once the brick is removed I will have the fireplace re-fluted/certified by professionals
