Auto Electrical - replace main fuse(s) in car

    $75

    St Kilda VIC 3182, Australia

    3rd Aug 2019

Car (1999 Subaru Impreza WRX) not starting after long holiday and reconnecting battery (possibly incorrectly). Called RACV mobile battery, tested battery and said that was fine but it was fuses that had blown. Identified a couple of blown 20A fuses but possibly more, said it was simple but couldn’t help me as didn’t have replacement fuses. Photo of main relay box attached.

Great service, extremely helpful and good communication. Got my car started and on my way. Highly recommend.

2007 Ford Ranger 3L turbo diesel 4X4 1. Remove EGR 2. Turns over but will not fire. Ran a computer on it and it came up with 5 fault codes (can txt pics of computer screen with fault details) that say "Lost communication with Transmission Control Module". I have already had one hopeless mechanic and incompetent auto electrician take a look at were unable to isolate the issue. Transmission was replaced 2 years ago and is still under warranty so just want to ensure that it is not an easy fix before I start filling in the 74 pages of warranty claim documentation! 3. There are 2 freewheeling wires that have been unplugged so these need to find their proper home. Can be done after hours / wkd or during the week day

Auto Electrician Needed for Citroen C4

    $150

    St Kilda, Victoria, Australia

    22nd May 2019

Own a Citroen C4 2005 with EW10A 2.0 Engine, with AL4 auto transmission. Issue: Radiator Fan not turning ON as expected before 99c or 105c as expected and Temp gauge shows normal level This model had an electric thermostat installed, which has been deprecated due to issues, then replaced by mechanic thermostat. Work already done so far: New mechanical thermostat 89c Coolant flush New OEM fan resistor/relay ECU swapped to second hand unit. Fan does turn on at 110c, which is way too hot. I believe the ECU is getting the correct signal and could be a wiring issue.

Auto electrician / mechanic to get car started

    $100

    St Kilda VIC, Australia

Hi all, I am having trouble getting my 2004 Holden Combo to start. I recently had trouble with the fuel pump and a mate of mine did some dodgy rewiring and appeared to fix it. I drove it fine a couple of times after that and all seemed to be well. However now it won't seem to start again... I can hear the fuel pump priming though, so I am semi confident that it is no longer the problem. When I turn it over, there is a 'beep beep' noise coming from under the bonnet, so I suspect that the issue is something to do with the immobiliser not letting it start..... The vehicle is located in St Kilda. It's an old van that has been sat around for ages, so no mad rush on when it needs to be done. Happy to negotiate on price, etc. Cheers
