Have a 2010 VW Tiguan 103tdi with an electrical issue. Drivers seat, back rest tilt, electric switch isn’t working. The switch will tilt back rest forward, but won’t tilt it backwards. Car is in Moorabbin 9-5 Mon to Fri. Or in Caulfield South after business hours. A previous repairer fixed by soldering something on the electrical board. But it's broken again. I don't need the swift fixed or replaced. Just want the tilt position adjusted to correct angle, then disable the switch. Can you help?

When driving, if i turn on head lights or aircon, power steering goes out and battery light comes on (battery is only 1 year old). Also when reversing, power steering goes out. I suspect the alternator is on its way out. Need alternator replaced and general service. Preferably mobile service to come to me as unsure about if the car will make it to a mechanic shop.
