When driving, if i turn on head lights or aircon, power steering goes out and battery light comes on (battery is only 1 year old). Also when reversing, power steering goes out. I suspect the alternator is on its way out. Need alternator replaced and general service. Preferably mobile service to come to me as unsure about if the car will make it to a mechanic shop. Have a 2010 VW Tiguan 103tdi with an electrical issue. Drivers seat, back rest tilt, electric switch isn’t working. The switch will tilt back rest forward, but won’t tilt it backwards.
