Hello, We are looking for an experienced carpenter, joiner, or skilled handyman to repair a broken door hinge at our retail store, in Westfield Whitford City. The Issue: The bottom hinge on one of our main shopfront doors has completely broken and come off its mounting. This is a significant safety concern as the remaining hinges are now under extra strain, and the door is not secure. The Job: The task is to professionally repair the door and make it safe and fully functional again. The scope of work will involve: 1. Assessing the damage to the door and the door jamb where the hinge has pulled out. 2. Supplying and installing a new, heavy-duty hinge that is appropriate for a commercial shopfront door. 3. Securely re-hanging the door, ensuring it is properly aligned and hangs straight. 4. Checking and tightening the remaining hinges on the door to ensure their integrity. 5. Adjusting all hinges so the door swings smoothly and closes correctly. Please note: The successful contractor must supply ALL necessary materials for the job, including the correct heavy-duty replacement hinge and any required fixings. The cost for these must be included in your offer.
