The current window is a standard single sliding window (approx 2x1m). The black locking clasp has a piece that fell off (that I still have) but all in all it still works/slides. I’d like to fix that piece and make sure the glass is flush when it closes, as it currently sits a bit wonky (probably contributing to the noise leaks to my disgruntled neighbours). I’d also like to implement any other affordable sound proofing measures you can suggest would be effective such as brush / weather strips, acoustic sealant and foam seal etc. If you can offer me a good price for another proven method of sound proofing such as double glazing etc then I’m also open to that.
