I’m looking for an experienced handyman to help with several small jobs at my home in Ashfield. The work may require two visits – one to inspect and confirm what’s needed, and another to complete the work once materials are ready. Here’s what I need done: 1. Front Porch Gate: Need advice on what type of gate to purchase (pedestrian entry). I’ll buy the gate separately based on your recommendation. Install the gate once ready. 2. Car Gate Repair: Gate isn’t closing properly. Happy to replace the lock – I’ll cover the cost of the new one. One side of the gate also has a missing screw at the bottom that needs fixing. 3. Garage Lock Replacement: Replace the lock on a roller shutter garage door. I’ll supply the lock. Need help/advise where/which lock to buy. 4. Cracked Window Glass (x2): One in the kitchen, one in a child’s bedroom. Need help replacing the glass only (frames are intact). I’ll pay separately for the glass/materials. 5. Shed Gate Fix: Gate needs to be repaired. One hinge is broken and needs replacing - I have some hinges we can use. Budget: $500 for labour only – I'll pay separately for all parts. Important: I need someone who can handle all the listed tasks, not just a few.

We would like to install this door handle on a barn door (both sides). I imagine a hole would be to be cut on each side and then the handle glued in place.

The door isnt closing. The root issue is a slanting wall. But we need it to close for rental inspection and fixing the wall is beyond the scope of the task. Have tried sanding it back but it needs a lot more or adjustment of the hinges.

My door has been broken because my clothing rack fell on the door.

Back door needs to be removed and the bottom shaved off wood has swollen and not closing properly magnetic doorstops installed both back door and front door. Each needs to be strong enough to hold mechanical door close. New locks have been installed. Would like touch up.

Bathroom door doesn’t close. It looks like the top of the door is sagging slightly so believe the top hinge needs to be tightened/adjusted. It is freshly painted and unfortunately the hinges have been painted over.
