We're looking for a handyman to help solve a problem with a small section of warped DuraTuff vinyl cladding just outside the threshold of our granny flat. We think a batten of just the right dimensions could push the cladding back in line, provided it can be mounted securely to the existing timber decking so as to resist strong sideways shear. (The warped cladding is very rigid). The batten would need to be durable/external/H3-treated DAR, about 35mm x 40mm x 1000mm (HxDxL) or, for stronger shear resistance, maybe a whole plank?

The bathroom door, from water damage on the floor needs to be patched and repainted for an end of lease.

Framed glass shower recess and framed door in good condition- pivot hinges at top and bottom- look like grey solid plastic with little screws to open them up. The bottom corner of door frame scratches the bottom frame metal strip while opening and closing, however, can open and close door by lifting it slightly.
