Rehang back door and install lock (internal only). Lintel just been replaced. Door was already unbalanced but now worse after rains. Also can’t get screw out of existing lock to reposition it. Also two windows appear to have swollen after rains. Double hung very hard to open, and can’t close the middle casement window.

Drill a window latch into window frame. Drill and screws required. Sydney city location. Old broken latch and new latch in place (undrilled) pictured. 12pm-3pm only - task should take 5 minutes but have work and unavailable other times. $100 firm, previously booked task without latch for that amount but tasker had other jobs come up/was unavailable.

My apartment in Darlinghurst has a solid cedar double sash window in the laundry which was installed around 2016. In last month's storms our tenant contacted me saying that there was a leak below the window between the masonry wall and the timber window. Apparently, the leak was making the interior wall paint bubble. Unfortunately, I do not have photos of the leak or the damage. Although I live in Melbourne now, I will be in Sydney for the next week and was hoping that someone could come and have a look at the window to quote on fixing the leak.

We have double hung 5 windows. They aren’t opening / closing properly. Need them fixed as cords have broken.

The window has two hinges. The top hinge has popped when window swung open in the wind. The bottom hinge needs to be rescrewed in. The screws need to be reset. Probably needs longer screws and plugs. I will need to hold window in place as you do this as windows swing out. I am thinking it will need an extra hinge to ensure it is stable going forward.
