My front-load washing machine is leaking water from the front door area during the wash cycle. The leak seems to come from the bottom of the door. I suspect the door seal / gasket retaining spring has come off or is loose (see photo). I have the metal retaining spring ring that likely needs to be reattached. What I need: Someone experienced with washing machine repairs Inspect the door seal Reattach or fix the retaining spring ring Ensure the machine no longer leaks during operation Details: Front-load washing machine The metal spring clamp for the rubber seal is currently off (see attached photo) Machine otherwise works normally. Washing machine does not fill up with water, comes up with PE. Have tried to clean filter but it might need replacing.

Hi. I have a clothes dryer that needs to be moved from my apartment on the first floor to the footpath outside for a council pickup (likely a 2 person job).
