Looking for a reliable labor/ gardener: Remove existing grass from backyard; Remove roots and surface vegetation where required; Load and dispose of all green waste and old turf; Leave site reasonably level and clean; Prepare surface ready for topsoil and new lawn installation. Residential site in Nicholls, rear yard has good access through a 950mm rear gate. Possible machine access through rear natural strip.

Seeking help to: 1. Remove and dispose of 11m x 4m of old artificial grass (can be cut-up – note access is along the side of the house – 40cm wide at narrowest); 2. Lower soil level by 50mm (under old artificial grass) to be level with pool tiling, for purpose of laying top soil for real grass; 3. Lower approx. half of existing garden bed (about 0.5m width around) to allow new real grass footprint to be slightly larger than old artificial grass footprint (approx. 11.5m x 4m) and to be same level as under older artificial grass (slightly more soil in the old garden bed); and 4. Take soil to corner of yard for disposal by landscaper (note soil does not need to be taken out of the property) but note narrow access (40cm at narrowest) will limit machinery access. Piles will need to separate out soil / crusher dust from drainage gravel. If pile extends into the yard that is fine and landscaper can do the remainder. Ground consists of crusher dust, drainage gravel down middle of yard and to 4 drainage pits along pool and soil (some old palm tree roots likely still present). Given measurements above, approx. 2.5 to 3 cubic metres to be moved. Artificial grass will likely be heavy but can be cut into as many pieces as required to remove. I've got a roughly 3mx3m patch of grass that i'd love synthetic turf laid. We had real turf but didnt survive for whatever reason and now we just track dirt around. I'm after quote for everything. Removal of existing turf, prepped however needs prep, providing of the turf. (Would be great to have some options, closer to real as possible but understand they can get quite pricey and don't want to go crazy there). Excuse the mess at the moment, hasnt had much TLC. The front lawn needs to be replaced—the previous one didn't survive, so I need something solid and low-maintenance this time. Two sections: the left is roughly 5.5m x 2.8m, and the right is roughly 3.3m x 2.8m. Photos attached. I'd like a buffer strip running all around the lawn to separate the grass from the house and the driveway — happy for this to be filled with pebbles, bark, or some native low-maintenance plants, whatever works best and looks good. For the lawn itself, I'm open to either real grass or high-quality artificial turf — keen to hear your recommendation on which suits the space better, especially given the previous lawn failed. I understand installing some reticulation would be best for the real grass. If artificial turf ends up being the better option, I'd also like a recommendation for a feature tree—either one centered across both sections or one on the right and two on the left. Open to any other planting or layout suggestions as well. Convert a narrow soil strip running along a side passage into an artificial grass area for our dogs to toilet on, keeping the pavers in place. Photos attached.
