I’m looking for an experienced tiler or flooring contractor to complete a partially finished tile replacement at my grandmother’s front door entrance. The previous contractor removed some of the tiles but stopped the job after discovering a layer of slate beneath the tiles, which they were not equipped to remove. The slate will need to be properly removed before new tiles can be installed. Scope of work: - Assess for remaining damaged/loose tiles - Remove slate underlay beneath the tiles - Prepare the surface for tiling - Install replacement tiles at the front entrance This area is right at the front door, and because my grandmother is 78 years old, the uneven surface creates a serious trip hazard, so we’re hoping to have this completed as soon as possible. Please only respond if you have experience with tile removal, slate removal, and tiling. She is on a pension and on a budget, so please be mindful of this. Photos provided of area.

Job is to Re-grout bathroom area & fix or replace cracked tiles (we already have spare/replacement tiles for the cracked ones). Bathroom has a 1Mx1M area of degraded/damaged grout and 5 cracked tiles, and needs to be re-grouted/repaired. Also need to check & treat any issues under tiles from potential water seepage/mould if present/an issue. I would like a quote for this versus re-grouting the entire bathroom floor area of approx. 2.7M x 2.9M. Would like costings for cement vs. epoxy grout.
