I put a fuel can down on the tiles for a few weeks and the bottom of the can created a ring of rust on the tile belolw it. I need this cleaned . Looking for someone to lay some kitchen tiles for me. The tiles will be supplied and measure 600x600. They will be butting up to some existing tiles (same tiles laid out in an L shape around the kitchen's edge) and will fit around a newly installed island. The tiles will be laid just under the perimeter of the island and just under a skirting board. One existing tile will have to be removed (it's been cut down to roughly 200mm and is the end tile in the town) and a full size tile installed to continue the row. Most of the prep works will be done by myself such as removing the existing tile trim, carpet, underlay and skirting boards. However, I will wait for any insight you may have before proceeding. Knowledge of working in apartments is desirable as acoustic underlay has to be installed as per strata bylaws. They haven't given me a specification with regards what's to be used but I'll look to install whatever can offer the same height of the existing tiles. Your experience will hopefully direct me to getting the best solution. Please note, there is an abundance of parking and easy entry to the apartment. Existing tiles may have to be re-grouted (8 tiles) to match the colour of the new grout as I'm not sure of the colour of the existing grout. When the new tiles are installed there will be a new edge of tiles at 4.1m long that will require some edging where it will then butt up to a carpet.
