Hey there, My friend has been doing it rough and has been trying to get this small tiling job done for a while, but other things have kept getting in the way. They’ll be away next Friday and Saturday, so I’d love to get this done as a surprise for them before they return. **The job involves:** • Approx. 9m² of floor tiling • 800 × 800mm rectified matte porcelain tiles, approx. 9mm thick • Manufacturer recommends a 2mm joint • One step • Approx. 7 linear metres of aluminium/metal square-edge trim • Clean, straight cuts and a neat, professional finish • Tiles laid flat and level, with the appropriate fall running away from the house • Use of a tile levelling system (TLS) • Minimal tile wastage **Timing:** The job needs to **start at 7:30am and be completed the same day — Saturday, 12 September.** I’m happy for you to inspect the job the night before so you can look everything over and make sure you’re prepared. If needed, TLS preparation can also be done the afternoon before. **Materials & tools:** I’ll supply the tiles and agreed materials. Just let me know exactly what materials you require so I can have everything ready. You’ll provide your own tools, equipment and expertise. **What I’m looking for:** I’m happy to pay a fair price for quality workmanship, but please let me know as soon as possible if you’re interested. I’m not necessarily looking for the cheapest quote — I’m looking for someone experienced, confident and proud of their work.
