I am looking to hire an experienced tiler to complete the tiling of my lounge room, which is approximately 38 sqm in size. The tiles are 600 x 600 mm and will be supplied by me. All other materials such as adhesive, grout, levelling clips/spacers, and other consumables should be provided by the tiler and included in the labour quote. The floor is concrete, and the existing carpet will need to be removed and placed in the garage by the tiler. In addition, the tiler will need to shift one alcohol bar cabinet before work begins. Please also confirm whether the existing concrete floor will require screeding or levelling before tiling, and include this in your quote if necessary. The tiler will also be responsible for cutting tiles as required, and this should be factored into the quote. Your offer should also include the 20% Airtasker service fee. While I understand tiling in NSW does not always require a licence, I would like to confirm that you have insurance and relevant experience to ensure the work complies with standards. I would appreciate a reasonable and competitive quote for the job, and I am open to further discussion.
