I need a main bedroom and connected hallway through to the ensuite laid with new 600mm by 600mm floor tiles. This area is currently carpeted and the job will also require taking up the carpet and preparing the floor for tiling. Carpet to remain onsite. The main bedroom dimensions are 4m by 3.8m, the connected entry to the hallway 0.75m by 0.95 m, and the connected hallway 3.2m by 1.2m. In total, approximately 21 square metres. I live in a three bedroom apartment on Level 1 - entry is via an elevator on one side of the building or directly by gentle sloping stairs and side door entrance on the other side of the building.The apartment is newly renovated and painted and therefore it is very important to me that the job is done as cleanly as possible with respect to walls and surrounding areas. There is a 3.7m by 2.6 m balcony off this main bedroom which could be a potential work area. The tiles will be here onsite ready for the job. (1) Replace 6 white tiles with full size tiles, seal splahsback, and fill with white grout between. You will be tiling over the apricot coloured tile and concealing it. Approximate scope: - Wall tiles: ~26 m² - Floor tiles: ~5 m² - 2x wall niches - 2x floor wastes - Screeding / floor prep with correct falls to wastes - Installation of supplied under-tile heating mat/cable - Waterproofing - Tiling - Grouting and silicone Tiles, wastes, and under-tile heating mat/cable will be supplied. No need for mitre joints, regular corner joints are fine. Please quote for labour and tiling-related materials, including adhesive, grout, trims/sundries, waterproofing materials, silicone, and any required floor/wall prep. my upstairs bathroom has a tile that has broken. it is not inside the shower, it is outside it. i suspect there’s an issue with how the tiling was done
