Just moved into a new rental apartment and the current shower head is in terrible state. I bought a new one but I can’t seem to get the old one off when I try and use a wrench. Not sure why. Am I’m not experienced in it I don’t what to force it. Water pressure for hot water is also low so maybe washers need replacing also ? If someone can come over and change the shower head and check the washers that would be great.

My shower head holder broke and I've replaced it with a new one, but I'm struggling to get the old one off. I tried unscrewing the bottom of the rod to slide it off, but I don't want to do any damage, so I'm looking for someone with the right skill set to help me remove it.
