I'm looking for an experienced gardener or landscaper with a small rotary hoe (or similar garden tilling machine) to prepare my front garden for planting. The garden has already been cleared of plants, however it contains a significant number of fibrous palm tree roots throughout the soil. Hand digging has proved extremely difficult, so mechanical cultivation will be required. Tasks include: - Rotary hoe/cultivate the garden bed to approximately 150–200 mm depth where practical. - Break up compacted soil and cut through smaller palm roots. - Remove larger roots that are exposed during cultivation where reasonably possible (I understand not all palm roots can be removed). - Incorporate supplied cow manure and garden soil/compost into the existing soil. - Rake and level the garden bed ready for irrigation installation and planting. The garden is approximately 5 metres long and varies between 1 and 4 metres wide, with a curved front edge. Please bring your own rotary hoe or suitable equipment and any hand tools required. I'm looking for someone who has experience with garden bed preparation and can leave the area ready for planting. Budget is indicative.
